Syringoma

What is Syringoma?


Syringoma is a non-cancerous (benign) bump formed from the eccrine glands. They present as flattish papules usually found on the upper cheeks and lower eyelids of young adults. They range from 1-3 mm in diameter and are firm to touch. Syringomas are completely harmless and easily treated with advanced electrolysis techniques.

Cause


Overgrowth of cells from sweat glands (eccrine glands.)

Like milia, Syringomas will dry and disappear within a few days post treatment. However, if they are large then you may need a second treatment.
